What if you dont have a PayPal account,(as you need to pay The Hippie Company), and dont want to use them...because they are a pain in the a--? And youhad major difficulties with them in the past,so you closed your account. Do you know of any other company that has these seeds, and will take US dollars or a charge cards?

MCFDfirefighter, welcome to the forum. Where you are in the growing season depends on where you are. Please put your location (especially heat zone) in your profile. Yes you are late in the season and may not get a harvest this year, but peppers are perennial if the temps stay above 40F. You can over-winter them inside for a running start next year. Not clear on how you are planting and fertilizing, but there is precious little that you can do to affect the natural cycle of flowering and fruiting. Please tell us more, and pics are good. Dennis

John, I have harvested 4 peppers from one of my smaller Trinidad Scorpion-FG plants. All of them have had a non-distinct stinger and have ripened to a yellow-orange color. The plant that these peppers have come off of has suffered very heavily this year from aphids and a small whitefly. The robust, healthy plants that I have (2) have peppers on them that have a more prominent stinger, but none of them have ripened yet. I had intended to take pictures, but got too excited about the peppers ripening and I picked them and ate them. :) They were pretty hot, but not as hot as I expected. I know that every plant is different, but this plant has been the epitome of "stressed" throughout the whole growing season so I would think the peppers would be scorchers. The plant has done so poorly that I have considered pulling it a couple of times. I will provide you updates on the other 2 plants as the peppers ripen. All of the peppers from you that I have grown are now producing peppers, but it's so hot here that there haven't been any huge harvests. I'm pretty excited that I now have peppers on the Jamaican Scotch Bonnets, 7-pot and Bhut Jolokias. Scott

Hmm. Mine were more pointy. Seeds came from scorpion_john; his seeds grow true as much as any source I have (save fusion_power who grows isolated). Shape was closer to the one on the right in your second shot, or the one on top of the pile in Josh's pic. Some gnarliness but little recursion (folding) as in both your 2014 pics. Maybe I should solicit a new crop of seeds. Who was it that had the douglahs that were so hot he wouldn't eat any more of them? Dennis
