Sounds like aphids to me. But I am no expert. I had an infestation a few weeks ago. They were "off-white" in color too. Up close, they look like Albino lice. hahaha.

Spherical and pearly-shiny sounds like some kind of egg to me. If they do look egg-like, I'd get rid of them before they hatch... they could be something harmless, maybe even something beneficial, but the risk of them being something nasty would make me want to get rid of them just in case. Bad attitude perhaps, but I just discovered today that the winter squash I've been storing inside are infested with spider-mites, so I'm pretty anti-insect right about now...

My guess is tomato horn worm eggs. Google for images.
They will hatch and produce very hungry caterpillars which will eat all the leaves.
They leave brownish droppings which look like small spheres stuck together and get larger as the caterpillar gets bigger. The eggs were left by a moth which the caterpillar turns into.
Knock the eggs off and look under the leaves for the worm(s). They are well camoflauged cause they are nearly the same color green as the plant.

inspace: OK, the photo of your second to last picture of bugs really resembles the Aphids I had on my Ghost Pepper a few weeks ago.

As for the photos of the other bugs, I dont know if they are different color phases/life stages of the same bug (Aphid) or a different species altogether.

Looks to me like you have Aphids and spider mites. Google search images spider mites.

I've never seen white spider mites (or aphids, for that matter) here before, they've all been red, how odd.

I think that bug in the photo above is definitely an aphid, but I don't think the other insects are spider mites. I don't have an alternative suggestion for you, but they certainly don't look like any spider mites I've ever seen.
