I know I probably posted pictures of these roses before ... but here's a few more

Tuscan Sun

Distant Drums - I'm never sure what colour this rose falls under ... love the different colours on it though

Oshun - this is a new Paul Braden rose I got last year from Uncommon - it loves to bloom :o) and like all of Paul's roses is just stunning!

Bronze Star - huge blooms with a lovely fragrance - one of my favourite cutting roses - have to watch out for it's thorns though!

Distant Drums-what an unusual color, so different.
Maybe next year I will try it.

Thanks Virginia! Yes, I did order Pax last year. It was a bit tiny so I put it in a pot to grow on a bit. Sadly, I'm forgetful when it comes to watering, so it didn't do much all year and is still tiny. I think I'll just put it in the ground this winter. I wonder what your mystery rose is? It's lovely anyway. My camellia hedge is doing well! (Probably because I didn't torture it by putting it in a pot and forgetting to water). It's still not really recognisable as a hedge, more a series of tiny plants doing battle with weeds. But I went with Brushfield's Yellow, which flowers in late winter, so if I'm lucky I might see one or two blooms in a few months :)

Front Garden Shot, a little washed with the sun, but you can see the blooms going on. Half of my seedlings are in this area. Just one of the orientals that started blooming a couple days ago and a few of the coneflowers that the jbs didnt eat.. dont know how they missed those, as they got most of them in my garden, I dont know why I bother to grow them honestly. I have Barely Beige in my family room paired with an accent wall of SW Toasty, and I'm very happy with the combination. However, I have SW tobacco road in the kitchen, and it does not look good up against the barely beige, so I know what you are going through. I wish I had a suggestion for you! The color under the BB on the strip has a pinkish cast in my room, so that was not an option for me. Something I have looked at SW Ivorie, and even though it's a much lighter color than the tobacco road, it seems to blend better. I'm holding off though until I have more time to test colors...I hope you'll post if you come up with a solution!

Aprille, I have Tuscan Sun planted new this year, and really love it so far.It will be interesting to see what it does as the weather warms up. One of my office mats brought in a cut flower of Bronze Star last week and I was quite taken by it. Your pics are wonderful..looking forward to your next batch ..
