Comments (9)It's not impossible, but these look a little more lacy/crystal-y whereas lacewing eggs are just one oval blob per stalk, and all the same size. I had a few of the little buggers lay eggs on plants I was just about to bring back inside! I know they won't survive indoors, and my plants won't survive outdoors! Comments (4)Thanks for the help (and reassurance). Hopefully that's all it was. There are a few differences: mostly that my plant started to die after they showed up. Also the root buds/ eggs on my plant were greenish and much larger and the stalk turned purple/black where they were coming out. Finally, the plant pretty much snapped in half at one of the sites and fell over, despite being staked....See Moregreenman28 NorCal 7b/8a
