It was recommended to me on the forum when I wanted to get a rose two years ago. I finially figured out how to grow it--with lots of support. The blooms are not real big although they look big in the photos. It is very photogenic.

Wow Kathy CM is simply gorgeous!!!! I have one thats budding all up. So should I figure out a way to support him? You have some beatiful shots of him. I like your support. Did you make it or buy it somewhere? It looks like bamboo and my dad has some so I may go chop down some of his. Thanks, Judy

This is really beautiful, roses and bush. I see the Ladies are hard at work for you on it too:) I'm with Judy, I like your bamboo framework for this.

A variable orangey-pink (sometimes more salmon, sometimes more pink), determined by weather conditions, often with a yellow reverse. Odd growth habit, almost like a miniature climber--very flexible 6' canes that arch this way and that way. Disease resistance above average. Repeat outstanding, nearly continuous. Flowers are on the small side. Tea-type fragrance variable as well--sometimes good, sometimes absent.

Every time when I see a Disneyland rose, I feel sorry for my Disneyland that died blooming only twice. I like the different colors of the blossoms when they age and the blend of colors in one blossom and in the bush as a whole. I love New down, Eureka is so beautiful too. all your roses are beautiful and your garden is gorgeous.

I just planted a big healthy J&P Christopher Marlowe from Lowes. I'd been eyeing it forever, so I finally bit the bullet. It's covered in buds and has healthy foliage despite being ignored by the garden center staff. I love how you captured the changing looking of the blooms. I really like the button eye too. I dont grow CM myself, but I have seen it quite a few times at the state rose garden here- their ones look like groundcover roses; quite pretty really; they have them at the front of the bed, with bushes, then pillar roses behind them. I wonder if you could get it to drape over the edges of a pot? heres a pic..CM is the one at front, William Morris is the pillar rose. Charles Darwin is to the left, but I cant remember the others.. I didnt have PAOK for long- the first year it was lovely, then 2nd year it spent mostly covered in mildew, then it blackspotted, so I dug it up... mum saw it on its way to the bin, and insisted on "not wasting it" Will be interesting to see if she has better luck with it this year:) It did seem to want to spread out though..

We made the support from bamboo stakes. DH did, at my request. He drilled holes in the bamboo (not easy) and tied them together with gardening wire. Cutting it was difficult, too.
Not a climber, but it almost looks like it could be one. I have a feeling the support could easily be another foot high. We'll see.
