Comments (247)Ah darn! No, this was a learning exercise. I'm in Scotland so the plant was growing in doors and I never even thought to pollinate the flowers until the lady minute so this is the only fruit I managed to get! Now it's stuck half green half orange! Pretty disappointed that it's an unrecognisable pepper!! Oh well thanks for the help though....See MoreMy Carolina Reaper Project for Next Year
Comments (8)Me too! I'm really glad I started the peter pepper on the laughing Buddha statue as a test run for the skull. I feel like I'm learning more on how to keep a nice tight root grip on a very irregular surface that should really come in handy later on. I've started a bit of pull down on it. I'm pretty sure that the timing is okay and that it'll work out (or I wouldn't have done it), but I should learn how well it maintains it's grip, which will translate later into how long I should wait to do the same on the skull. Sure, I could just grow peppers, but where's the fun if I'm not pushing myself?...See MoreCarolina Reaper seeds.. Now this is funny
Comments (33)Yeah, the problem with Pepper Joe/Penny's Tomatoes isn't the customers he's delivered to... ...it's the people he's threatened ...it's the seed he's renamed in order to create false exclusivity ...it's the photos/text he's stolen from others to fill his websites ...it's the excuses he makes and blame he re-directs rather than accepting responsibility ...it's his treatment of critics, from threats of lawsuits to all out attacks on other businesses and works (such as the attack on fellow GardenWeb tomato expert Carolyn Male (amongst others) or websites that are critical of his businesses) This guy is working hard to put his name/face/business out there as the defacto face of the pepper industry. He not only doesn't deserve it...he doesn't have the credibility to make a claim to it....See MoreTime Lapse Video of Carolina Reaper Sprouting
Comments (42)I have tried that method over and over again... but I think my computer, or the program, just isnt powerful enough to handle 13,000 images. Also, movie maker requires 0.03 seconds as the minimum, which is 33fps - 6.5min of movie. I kinda want it to go much faster than that. about 1.5min? But I dont know... my program keeps crashing....See MoreSam_thepepperman
