MOA Scotch bonnets for first 7 posters

If you haven't heard about this pepper, I'm sure
some of you have. It stands for Ministry of Agriculture
and it's from Jamaica. You can find info at that other
pepper forum that I cannot name here because I don't
want to get banned.

Post here. First 7 posters. This is for seeds.

hello all: i have the same question as the original poster. i got my varieties all jumbled up this year and many went unlabeled into the garden and containers. are these scotch bonnets? they look similar to what chinamon posted, but not sure... i thought i had only planted habs in the garden, but if anyone could verify that these are scotch bonnets i would be pleasantly surprised. thanks!

Very nice Brian! They'll ripen up a bit, but not like tomatoes. Yes. Colors will get deeper and occasionally you can get "almost" ripe ones to get rid of that last bit of green. Kevin

This year I grew plants from seeds from the plants above, a day one other. Here are the plant at about 12 weeks. The first row, first two on the left are an Aji Dulce. Back row, first two are from the same pepper, Third one over, both in the front row, and in the back row have pods shaped like little lanterns, and a decidedly different habit from the other two. Can they be chinenses? Last one is from a third variety, also labled "scotch bonnet". Here is a picture of "the lantern shaped" scotch bonnet.

5 so far. Two spots left.

Everyone that has posted, pls send me your address.

Bill, Steve at the other forum made up that name. This is
seed he grew out. His original seed came from Jamaican
Ministry of Agriculture's Bodies Research Station in St.
Catherine's Parish. He said they were not easy to get.
How he got them, I don't know. He gave me extra seed
to share. They are widely spread at THP, so I came here
to see if anybody wanted some...So send me your address.
I believe these are isolated seeds.
