Why are my peppers turning black?

I don't recall seeing my jalapenos turn black before. I'm guessing they are okay to eat as I've been cooking with them. No mold or anything inside them. Are they sunburnt?

My habenara peppers like to turn black on the inside. It looks like mold so I throw those away. Anyone have an idea what is going on there? If I pick them green or orange they tend to be okay but if I wait until they turn red half are yucky on the inside.

No problems with my serreno, hungarian, and some unidentified little green peppers. All those look nice and pretty.
