Plumerias and the garden of phosphorus-intolerant plants

slave2thefur

I've been replacing all my lawn and boring landscaping with a drought tolerant garden and habitat, and it's mostly CA natives and Australian / SA plants. The latter are notoriously allergic to phosphorus - leucadendron, leucospermum, protea, etc.

I planted my 3 small plumeria upslope from a veldfire leucaspermum - big mistake! If I feed the plumeria, the PH drains downhill, and down goes the pincushion.

If I only foliar feed my Plumerias, will they do ok? Please let me know - If I have to move them, it will be as soon as they go dormant. The other plants don't tolerate root disturbance.
