your leaves look nicely green and already flowering so looks like your nutrient levels are doing okay. with the transplant there is always a bit of shock to the plant -- so you'll need to give a bit of time to adjust. also, your soil looks pretty dry and you'll want to make sure that you give soil a complete soaking when you water, just don't let the water sit on bottom of drain pan. a light misting of water might also help perk up a bit. not sure what zone you're in, but the strong heat we've been experiencing in the south is still wilting our leaves, so you want to make sure you keep well hydrated.

I'm surprised it looks as good as it does. I wouldn't have used a larger container,
since that volume of soil won't dry as readily with indoor conditions. Elevating the
container and blowing a fan over the soil would help, but it might also dry the leaves
and lead to a haggard looking plant. Do not mist your plants. It serves no purpose
other than to invite pests and pathogens to your leaves. Moreover, the increase in
humidity lasts about 5 seconds, which isn't enough time to do anything.

I'm not sure what your expectations are for this plant, but I think you might be disappointed
unless you can give it appropriate light, supplemental or otherwise.

Thanks for your posts guys - I appreciate the help! I came home today and it's looking even worse.

I was little confused at the watering though - first post implied to water it more - second post implied to not water it too much! Which do you think is causing the drooping?

When you say 'supplemental light' - how many hours of sunlight should the plant get ideally? And what light is sufficient as a 'supplement? Flurescent? or a normal lamp pointed at it? The problem is im not sure if it's too much water or not enough water or not enough light that's actually the problem. Josh you seem to be applying it's the lack of light that's the problem?

I really want to keep this plant alive and make it flourish - I will do whatever it takes. I could probably leave it outside out the back of my block of apartments in direct sunlight for a day or 2 until I work out a more permanent solution. (It's not like someone would steal it - if they did they would suck!)

But would I be better off trying that? or pointing a lamp at it 24/7 for a few days?

I've got a wide range of chillis grown indoors and none of them do at all badly make sure you have drainge holes in your pots, try lightening the mix with perlite and have some sort of drip tray under the pots.

You maybe getting too much sunlight all at once so try getting some ventilation (a fan is a good idea) although I just keep a eye on them and open a window.

Also I try in the main to water from the bottom filling the drip tray until it soaks into the soil, although this may not be enough when they get really hot.

When the plants start suffering and looking a bit yellow I give them either a weak balanced feed with every watering OR some tomato/chilli feed once a week they'll soon darken up.

Yikes, inside (sorry, I missed that part!) -- wow, you have lots of flowers, pretty decent for inside conditions! If you have directly at window, then you might be getting enough light (assuming you get sun exposure for a good part of the day) but excess heat & soil dryness may be the issue. Your soil looks quite dry (and somewhat compact), which would definitely cause leaves to wilt. Plants typically respond well to a thorough watering but you want to make sure that water is not ponding at bottom of pot and has good drainage with soil. Plus a few well wishes!

BTW, Nick -- great yield for indoor peppers, wow! quite impressive :)
