If you compare the fruits when they are mature to pictures, you'll probably have an easier time with the ID. But Caribbean reds and Habanero both seem like reasonable guesses at this stage. FataMorgana

trust me when I say to you that anaheims, big jims and all of the new mex types are just fine raw chopped up and sprinkled on salad or tacos, or sauteed w, onions and garlic, or pickled, or any other way u would use a green unripe pepper, they are always mentioned roasted because, that is how they do it in new mexico. In fact when I lived in santa fe, every fall, every grocery store in town has big roasters out front and they sell them roasted by the pound, its funny cause from late august till early october the whole town smells like roasted chiles :) Ps if you want to harvest them green, stress ur plants a bit to get extra heat out of them, dont water for a couple of days before you pick them and preferably pick them in the heat of the day, the chiles from hatch, NM are always way hotter during the hot arid years, I have had hatch new mex types that would rival habaneros during drought years!

It's not Sunny Delight. Shape and color are both quite different. It's very fragrant and looks a lot like my David Austins. Wondering if I lucked out and got Graham Thomas. It's getting tall and though the color is a lot like Golden Celebration I used to have GC and the growth habit is different. Would a nursery that was growing roses for big box stores also have something like GT? It wouldn't be possible for a switch to happen unless they were both available from that grower

So…maybe…I think… In reading Justin’s great descriptions and looking at photos from the Costa Farms website… I believe tsome are Manjula. They look like my mature Manjula and the leaves are less flat as Justin described. And looking at the photos from the Costa Farms website, both the Pearls and Jade and Glacier have smaller leaves. I think Glacier is smaller than P&J. So…Manjula? – Compared to my Manjula – And I think these are Pearls and Jade, especially looking at the photos from the Costa Farms website. In reading the description and looking at the photos from the Costa Farms website, I think this plant that I bought elsewhere and was not labeled and was not from Costa Farms, is Glacier. And as Justin said that Glacier is NOT patented, any nursery could propagate it and call it whatever they want or not call it anything. I think that Glacier has smaller leaves and they are more “pointed” than the other “pothos” but the points are more of a rounded point, whereas the P&J is pointed as well but a more “pointier” point??? This probably does not matter a wit to anyone but I think it is fun to try to see differences and know if I really have one of each. Glacier from the Costa Farms website: I think this plant (not from Costa Farms) is Glacier. Leaves seem a bit more "crinkly" and I have read that is true of Glacier. Also I have seen plants that look like this sold in grocery stores and other places that were unlabeled. Makes sense if the plant is not patented. And to keep it interesting. Here is my plant (bought at a small hardware store that sells plants) that I believe is N’Joy. It has small leaves too but there is no spotting in the white and the white and green are very defined. Thoughts?
