My plant leaves are drooping and curling

I have been trying to save my little chilli plant since purchasing it. It was infested with tiny silver spiders, so I stuck it outside. The first night out it poured down rain, which really helped with the bug problem, but absolutely waterlogged this plant. I got him dried out and sprayed him to keep the bugs away. Then the slugs started on him, but I still didn't want to bring him in just in case there were still bugs. I moved it onto the deck, went out several times a night to remove slugs, and finally poured a salt circle around the pot to keep them out. The plant was looking weak outside so I brought it into the conservatory, but it is continuing to deteriorate. The leaves are all drooping and curled inward, but surprisingly it seems to continue to produce more chillies. I am hoping someone here can help me save this plant, but it might be time to just let it go.
