Greg- Rachel's Cloud is a variation of Grove Farm that was found in Tahiti by Andy Zukawitz of Aloha Plumeria. It has that little white splotches in the pink and I believe was named for Andy's daughter. Joan- I start the year with sulpo-mag and worm castings, then follow up with Dr. Earth #8 organic fertilizer. I gave a few foliars of spray n grow, cocowet and bill's perfect. I use superthrive and seaweed extract mixed in trash cans of water for some waterings. Then I got lazy and did nothing for awhile. Now I will give them Protekt to harden for winter. this is a good year for flowers. Bill

Hello Everyone, Hi Bill!! Really love the color in Rachael's cloud!! Mine seems to be just stalling at this point. Not sure what is wrong with mine. The stems seem really thin, but it is trying to push leaves so im leaving it alone. This is year 2 for this tree and im hoping for an inflo. Im sure it wont happen this season though. Cerise is a beauty!! Seeing your beautiful bloom makes me feel terrible about the person on ebay that ripped me off on the cutting. But thankfully, A nice person from Northern Va had a Cerise waiting for me when i visited a few days ago. What a nice surprise!! Thank you!! : ) The Compact JL Pink and White looks great in the brick raised bed. Everything looks happy and healthy in Costa Mesa!! Doesnt look like the Gloom has stayed over you long... Thanks Bill. You are probably the sole reason that I haven't given up. Your kind,patient words have always followed my whining and complaining. I relate it to Mr Miagi with the whole "Wax on, wax off" thing: The student wants to focus on the prize with all of the glory (plumeria blooms). Whereas the master wants to focus on the details in preparation that will eventually lead to success and, of course, the aforementioned prize and glory In hindsight, I have realized that most of the time when I got an answer to a question I picked out small parts of the info and ignored the rest. My success (or lack thereof) is directly related to trying to do things my own way. I'm at 1600 ft. and leaves have been yellowing and dropping for a month now. Got plenty of rain while I have been restricting watering, to no avail. I don't really know what "Singapore" means but, I have plumarias I bought from Lowe's and they have more rounded leaves, kind of shiny and are very late in dropping leaves and sometimes, not all of them. My vote for worst drivers: From Berlin to Hanover late one night in a storm, only the inner lane was plowed. I'm doing 120kph in my rented Mercedes and was constantly high beamed to get the hell out of the way. That meant pulling over into six inches of snow but I was not crazy enough to maintain risking death at what a German thinks is fast enough. They really are crazy about their god given right to drive without any speed restrictions on the autobahn. And, they pay the price; doesn't faze them, will never learn. LB
