Suze sent the most wonderful thoughtful box!! i enjoyed it so much!! she sent stuff for the kiddo's, pens for them, candy and she sent hummingbird feeder, that was so cool, and gnome that has a rain gage in it for the hubs!! i'd definately say she is the sweetest!! :')) Hugs Medo

Suzi replied to a Gerbera Dasiy offer I posted. She sent her SASBE very quickly with all the correct info contained. I would be happy to trade or SASBE with her again in the future. Thanks Suzi!!

I've hosted a couple of swaps which Suze participated in, and, I hate to say it, but I'd be very hesitant to let her in on another one. She's got lots of enthusiasm and posts a lot of fun comments in the threads, but when it came down to actually getting her boxes out to her recipients, that didn't go as well as it could have. She has recently asked to join in on a year-long swap (the Birthday Bash), and to be quite frank, I recommeded that she not be allowed into the group. I think, and this is just my humble opinion, that Suze should engage in a few more private swaps, and get used to delivering her end of the bargain a bit faster, not leaving her partners wondering if she's gonna come through for them.
Given a bit more time, and a few more private successful swaps, I'd allow Suze in a round robin again. But, if I was hosting one now, I'd have to tell her to wait for another time.

well Ladies, this one's coming down the homestretch. if my figures are right, of the 11 people involved here, 7 have had their packages received, 1 has packages in transit, and 3 are waiting to get their packages in the mail this week. Not bad! Not bad at all! I want to thank you all once again for making this a fun, learning experience for me. I'm sure I made some mistakes along the way, but you all picked up the slack and kept me going. I'm going to take a break this month from hosting, continue to play in my garden, and sink myself into the butterfly/hummingbird swap. However, if the stars align correctly, I'll be back hosting once again in July, and introduce you to my FAVORITE holiday!!! There won't be any ho-ho-hoing during that one!!! Dan and Paula, I will continue to keep you in my prayers and meditations. I know that you don't hold faith in prayer, but positive energy is coming your way in waves. I know it is a very difficult time, and one that you are not in the mood to speak of much. I know what you two are going through. Shortly after the birth of my next to youngest son, my stepmother was diagnosed. Hers had already spread too far before being diagnosed. When my youngest son was a year old, my favorite uncle passed after a 15 year remission. Even my stepmother had several years to enjoy life after her diagnosis, even with it having spread so far there wasn't much that could be done to treat it. If you can have faith in nothing else, have faith in the fact that you are a strong individual who has much left to share with the world. Have faith in the woman at your side who loves you, and your family who does as well. Have faith in the doctors who found this quickly. I had not left off of my prayers and meditations for both of you. In addition to healing and strength (light blue and red), I will also be lighting a pure white beeswax candle, one of the few left to me by my mentor, which holds her blessings and meditations for purity, faith and energy. I hope you feel well enough to join us and just hang out and talk. About anything. Gardening is a way of cleansing the soul and mind. And your friends here love you and hold faith for you that this will be well. Kathy

Someone mentioned ppl not posting. I hope nothing is wrong to stop a person that I sent to in CA from posting. If there isn't a reason, I think it is so disppointing to NOT post that you at least received. (If you are ill I am sorry post when you can) It is nice to acknowlegde at least you received whether you list what you got or not, although I think that is even better listing the seeds as well. GIVE CREDIT to the person for who and WHAT you received. That is just common courtesy, if for some reason you can't post what then at LEAST give credit to whom it was that sent you something. That person didn't have to take their valuable time to send anyone anything but they did and for some it took them HOURS to do it, some even took from their personal stash just so YOU could have a few of YOUR wants too. BE KIND and repay with a thank you to whomever it was you received from, is that too much to ask? OK, off the soap box. PRAYER REQUEST PLEASE: Last night I watched a house just across the highway burn. I don't know the people, they really live across a 4 lane HIGHWAY from me, but the way our place sits we could see the top and part of the front of the home and the flames were so bright coming out of the roof. We heard the sirens and bunches and bunches of Firetrucks swarming their home. I watched for about a minute as my heart went out to that family, and I had to come back in, I am not a gawker of tradegy. It was one of the nicest brick homes in this neighborhood. I don't know how much it burnt, I haven't been able to bring myself to go look today. I just feel for that family, whomever they are. I can't imagine what they lost. I hope everyone got out, I don't know that either. All I know is it broke my heart and I am still having to choke back tears. It is too close to Christmas for this kind of thing to happen. It is terrible. It is bad anytime, but to me losing everything around the Holidays is more so, esp. Christmas time, SO please add this family whomever they are to your pray list. Thank you all, Fran

Suze sent me a lovley box in the Christmas in June swap. There was alot of thought put in it and the Christmas stocking was especially lovely. I would swap with her again.

She was involved in only one swap, the Christmas in June swap, and sent out her two boxes to her recipients in plenty of time for them to receive them. Also, let it also be noted here that BOTH of her recipients enjoyed what she sent. After all this, I would gladly have her in another swap!

I participated in swap with Suzi in the August "Make over my garden" swap. She was VERY generous and seemed to think of all the things I needed for fall. She included lots of gardening gift items going above and beyond what I could have hoped for. We communicated several times throughout the month and I enjoyed getting to know her. Not only is she an excellent swapper but a wonderful new friend. What an awesome addition to our family of gardeners! Nikki

I participated in a round robin with Suzi in September and she sent me the most wonderful box with lots of terrific stuff in it. She put a lot of thought into her box and sent me things that matched me perfectly. She is a very friendly and generous trader and I would gladly trade again. Thanks!
