I found a huge Wisteria Help before they buldoze it.

I am brand new here and fairley new to this great and wonderful hobby. If I sound a bit green, then you now know that I am.

I found a very large wisteria that is going to be bull dozed.

It is funny because I just bought my first one this spring. The one that I bought was in a 2 gallon pot with a three foot stem. The green foilage is growng from the top of it and the stem s as big around as my thumb.I am assuming that this must have been a mid stem cutting. The fine young growth at the top doesn't match the thick stem.

Am I on the right track here?

The wisteria that is going to be bull dozed has many leaders running 30 or 40 fee away from its main trunk. The main truck is about 5 inches or more in diameter. The leaders are an inch or more in diameter as well.

Can I cut it up into 3 foot sections and root them all in one big garbage can? Now don't laugh at me that's just what comes to mind. I told you I was green at this:)

Would this work or does someone have better ideas of what will work?

Bea
