Dalar, I agree w/Webkat..place in moist soil..set in medium light (no direct sun) and then add plastic atop plant or make something that helps w/humidity. Crotons are high-humidity loving plants. Sounds like your Croton was growing a seed..lucky you..Flowers and seed take nutrients from leaves..I believe a dose of fertilizer would help, and of course sunlight. Toni

I am assuming you intend to plant it in ground. Will it thrive in your climate zone? I would personally prefer a single specimen in each pot since I find it to be much easier to manage and maintain. Several cuttings planted together may instantly look good but can be hard to control. Just my own personal opinion. Ankrara's Hobby Corner

My diffenbachia plant is about 6 years old. It's the large leaf variety. In august I cut it back because it was leggy and put it back in the soil. The top portion of the 5 leaves were healthy, however, since then all of the leaves has turned yellow and died. There is one new leaf left and it has not opened and it is turning yellow. I cut it back again because the cutting got mushy. Can you help. I'm trying to save this plant,because my father started it for me and he is now deceased. Please help. thanks
