Nice Tim! The only plant I have that's close to any of yours as far as pod production/size is a Naga in the ground. I'm going to have to rethink my 5-1-1 components. Awesome grow!

Why don't you bunch them up together more? Seed saving?

Yea, well Tim, I wanted some tips from you that have demonstrated your pepper growing skills. I am sure there are others too. All I wanted to know are: What do you feed them ? & Why you planted them in pots instead of in the ground? I just have 6 pepper plants.

I plant both in ground and in pots. I have about 10 pepper plants in the ground, and about 25 in pots. I like pots because the plants seem to grow faster. I believe the roots stay warmer early on and this aids in the growing process while the plants are still young.I also like pots because you can move your plants around. We had a lot of rain this spring. I was able to take my young seedlings and put them on our covered porch. This kept them from getting over watered.
I use three different kinds of fertilizer. I use Miracle grow, Alaska fish fertilizer, and when I pot up, I put Osmocote in my pots. I also use dolomitic lime, blood meal, and bone meal in my pots. I hope that helps you out. If I can help you in anyway just let me know.

Really nice plants! I've got some questions.

I'm getting decent pod production, but your plants still have their lower leaves and many of mine look more like plane trees. When did you move them up to the big pots? Have they always been as widely spaced? Do you turn the pots? What is the average sun time? (I'm getting 6+ hours)

DMForcier...... I potted up after about 4 months. They are usually closer, I had to move them around so we could cut the grass. I usually turn them when I notice them leaning to one side, or if it looks like there is a side with less foliage. They typically get sun from around 11 a.m. till about 8 or 8:30 p.m. The only exception is the 4 plants at the end. They only get about 4 or 5 hours of direct sunlight.
