pepper plant leaves falling off from the bottom up!

All of our hot and sweet peppers are in containers. All were planted in new miracle grow soil for containers. We water about every other day until water runs out the bottom. We had fuzzy white bugs (either mealy or aphids) and used neem oil once every 7-10 days for 3 weeks, 2 weeks now neem oil free. We have not fertilized because we started with new soil - except I have added eggshells and coffee grounds on top of the soil. Some of them have matches buried underneath them in the soil. Some plants are fine but some losing leaves.

The leaves are rapidly turning yellow and falling off the plant from the bottom up.
