Peppers, Heat and Flower Drop...

Man, we're burnin' up where I live! I'm not for sure, but I think it's having an effect on my pepper crop as well. The reason I'm not sure is because I had to plant a full month late this year due to the torrential rains throughout May.. I didn't get a plant in the ground until June 1, which has thrown the timing of everything off here. Luckily, my plants look really healthy despite the heat, but I'm not seeing many flowers on the plants or pepperBuds.. If the heat is causing flower drop or problems with pepperProduction in general, is there anything at all I can do to help my plants through all of this??

Thanks in advance for all responses!
