Wow--just saw my first adult growing pulmeria

I was over at Balboa Park in San Diego and saw growing, fully leafed out and blooming plumeria, for the first time ever. So Beautiful and exotic. My cutting is blooming--started this week, but the leaves are still "embrionic" in size. The flowers are beautiful, a blend of creamy white and pink petals with yellow at the throat of each blossom.

I know that I am supposed to remove the flower buds (inflo) to let the plant concentrate its energy to roots and leaves; I havent done that as I so wanted to see the flowers and I a little afraid of opening the plant to infection.

There are lots of little tiny leaves. There are more than 20 to 30 flower buds. I started with a 2 foot cutting with three branches and two of those branches were branched. All the tips have inflo and those teeny tiny leaves--some no more than little claws.

I am so glad to have discovered this plant; it is so beautiful and so exciting (once you get past the boredom "isnt anything going to happen" phase.
