WANTED: Have: medicinal, culinary, veggie, and fruit seeds
Comments (6)I have lots of oregano and rosemary seeds, and an assortment of other herbs and veggies, and a few flowers. Take a look at my trade list and see it there's anything you'd like. I've been looking for a lot of the things you have- I would love to trade for your Lincoln peas, beets, yellow Spanish onions, salsify, atomic red carrot, purple sprouting broccoli, and/or summer savory. I have limited garden space, so I'm not looking for large amounts of any particular seeds, but I like to grow a wide variety of things each season. Comments (3)I thought I had a huge earwig problem. After doing a little research on earwig control, I discovered that they are aphid predators. On looking more closely, I had aphids. And how. I agree. Great lush green plants from all the rain, but slugs and aphids are causing issues. Luckily, the predator bugs are now showing up in large numbers. As long as I can dodge the blight (and the rain moderates) I might be ok....See Morecrown vetch anyone... a 'bane or blessing'? ...
Comments (1)Definitely a bane. Here's a list of native plants for NM, some specifically state that they are good for erosion control. http://www.plantnative.org/rpl-az.htm Also, you might want to contact NM State Forestry Division for some advice and/or assistance. Comments (2)I go to a restaurant out in the woods, that has gourds, for the marlins, and they were all over the place around the gourds. Totally fascinating. Enjoy! Wish I lived in a place that I could enjoy!...See Moresusiebuckhouse
