Pepper Plant Predicament

tsunami560

Hello All!

I've been browsing the forums in hopes of finding something similar, but have fallen short. I planted 3 pepper plants around the beginning of April this year. They are growing great as you can see in the picture!

My predicament however, is that I threw away the tags, and I have no idea what kind of pepper plants these are, and therefore have no idea when they will be ripe.. Can anyone take a guess?

So far, my best guess judging by the leaves and pepper shape is Anaheim..

I recently decided to do a taste test, which turned out to be disappointing.. I picked the largest pepper (roughly 3 inches at the time), bit into it, and there was no flavor whatsoever.

If anyone has any insight, that would be great!
