Newbie's flowers.... Some photos and random questions

So after all the talk about Wildfire, I had to have one... Fuzzy in HI has been my most favorite place for seeds and rooted plants, they arrive in great shape and seem as advertised. Anyway, I'm hoping that the stress of shipping over 4th of July a tad longer than usual and the shock of being bareroot and transplanted accounted for this first pale bloom? I'm hoping later ones are darker, but it DOES smell amazing! I have been shying away from buying plants with inflos (I also got an India with an inflo but it got mangled in transport and I cut it off).
Anyway, two other questions about this inflo.... Unlike the few other plumerias I've seen, the stems of this inflo are fuzzy like a peach! Is this normal or common? I've never seen it before. Also, the blooms are on long, sparse stalks. I've seen photos of other plumeria like that, but does it depend on the variety? Or is it environmental?
