Fresh sabal minor 'MaCurtain'

Anyone have any fresh seeds of this variety - I'm looking for some to try " MacCurtain" just wanted to be clear not the "McLovin" Variety..lol

Wait until after Thanksgiving, the fruit will be ready for harvesting.

I wonder if the "Oklahoma Form" sold a few years ago by YuccaDo is the same clone as the "McCurtain". My Oklahoma Form Sabal is a large plant which should have at least one spike next year. It is MUCH more vigorous than the "McCurtain" Sabal minor from Plant Delights which is growing next to it. Both have proven fully hardy here in zone 7b, South Jersey.

i would be very interested in poncirus seeds, but i am not sure i would have anything that are looking for. i do have some various fruit seeds, first comes to mind is that i have a very yummy unnamed small yellow plum seeds, which i collected a couple of months ago. i also have some grapes. well let me know, its of course fine if this isnt what you are looking for. will attach my list and email too Here is a link that might be useful: my trade list

A friend of mine that runs an public garden in Florida has sent me lots of fresh tropical seeds harvested this fall. I am mostly interested in fresh commercial tropical seed but I am willing to trade for rare interesting garden plants not common ones. I know this is probably a dead thread now, but google street view for the building was done on May of 2011 - the sabal on the left was fully dead, the one on the right actually had 2 small new green leaves growing. That said the last 2 (and especially this winter of 2014) have been horridly cold, coldest since 1994, and surely any unprotected palm of most any species (except a well placed and established windmill or dwarf) is at best damaged and sabals are probably dead by now :(.

I have seeds from the Arkansas variety, which is slightly more northern than McCurtain Cty., OK. Read about Arkansas native sabal minor too!
