Cold Hardy Palm Options

jrod

I have been researching cold hardy palms for the last year or so and am ready to give it a shot. As for my climate, I live in Zone 7A. Summers average high 80's into the 90's with an average rainfall of 12+". Winter lows average 25 to 35 with daytime highs averaging in the 50's to 60's.

I am considering the following palms. I will be planting on a South facing brick wall.

1)Trachycarpus wagnerianus

2)Chamaerops humilis

What would be the better option? Also are there any other suggestions anybody may have?

Thanks.
