Bio-fumigant for Root knot nematodes?

Is there any thing to it? Have any of you tried it?

I noticed today I had nematode damage to at least two different kinds of radishes. I had no damage to the mustard plants I pulled. In trying to research this, I read that some kind of mustard (and other plants) are used as a cover crop and soil fumigant for disease and pest.

All the area I checked had a cover crop of Elbon rye last winter, and I had not noticed root knot nematodes before this year.

Comments please, thanks, Larry
