Very funny, Donna! Bold is beautiful. I love jewel tones with saturated colors. That must be why the light colored roses leave kind of empty - the sun is washing them out. Beautiful! I usually just plant cloves that are sprouting and wait till they die to dig them up. I have one huge plant growing now. Our last home had a HOA and I would hang my garlic to dry on the Bougainvillaea, and those gardeners would steal it. Every time! :-(( No more HOA's for me! Suzi

I've been paying attention to the pothead ladies... Bkay and Babka both say not to go bigger than next size up so that's what I go by too. If I have to do it again next year, so be it. I'm really enjoying the whole potting process...a big kid playing with her "toys"! When they are in the ground there isn't that much to do for them. Having them in pots is a great opportunity to get to know them more because they are within easy reach to study or just admire, or to touch. I'm a very tactile (hugger) person. When Paula was on her week's vacation, I could actually visualize her out there with her plants. Now I know what she feels, or whatever any of you who pot-garden, feel. It's grand! :) Steve, you haven't had to up-pot yet?
