That's all right! I have done that myself before. How long have you been waiting for your order? In all fairness, John was in Thailand when I called to place this order. I had to wait a few days for him to get back and then it took a while for him to get caught up...

All that matters now is that they all arrived safe and sound. I didn't have any damage, just some leaf drop and then the dead flowers on my JJ Orange. Boy was that dissapointing. Too bad we cannot just drive to there store and walk out with our new additions!

Congratulations, Andrew!!! Glad to hear your plants arrived in fairly good condition. Sounds like you got good plants (especially a 5-tips Sparkle? I'm jealous :-)
Are you going to transfer them to a larger pot? I just finished putting several if mine in 5-gallon pots.

Thanks for the tip! I don't have any Super Thrive. I was told by a guy that owns a huge greenhosue and flower shop that Vitamin B-1 is practically the same as the Super Thrive and a lot cheaper so I started using it and so far, I have had good results.

I know you told me that the Super Thrive has other trace nutrients in it so I may just pick up a bottle.

Your JJ orange, is this the same as the Mango Beauty?

I cant find my catalog on JJ's trees..ill keep looking..

I agree with Bill...i use the B-1 and the Superthrive when i repot, root cuttings, and even bare root trees...it seems to help a great bit!!

The Foilage Pro has a lot of the trace elements in it as well... so i use it diluted to fertilize my trees too!

I cant wait to see your trees...

No, the Jack Orange is not the same as the mango Beauty. It does have another name though...California Sunset 2. That name was written right on the tree itself. I didn't see jack orange on it anywhere and this order, I didn't get any tags, which I found really weird since he sent my Divine with one last year.

I also use Foliage Pro. Mike from the citrus forum got me into that. I use Vitamin B-1 everytime I repot, or I water with it when I get potted tropicals. I did this with the J105 and the sparkle since they don't need to be repotted.

Good luck finding Mango Beauty! I need to ask Dewaine where he got his since he was the one who introduced me to it.

You really need to email Sonia so you can get a pic of the Jack Orange. The pic of the Jack Orange she sent had an inflo on it that she measured at 18 inches long!!! She said that it also produced 6 tips on that same branch.

Stay on top of John Laura! Total time...it took me about 3 weeks to get that order but like I said, John was in thailand and that slowed things down.

Hi Andrew, sorry I did not respond to your post sooner, but I was away from the computer all weekend.

Tuesday (tomorrow) will be 2 weeks since I placed my order with John. I called him last thursday to check when it had been sent and it wasn't. He said he would send it out right away, so I'm hoping that it will be here real soon.

I agree with you that it would be very nice to just go and physically pick one out and bring it home.

I got my dwarf singapore pink locally, and have never seen plumeria for sale again. I got it for $6 because the leaves looked diseased. All the other DS pinks were $35. I just couldn't pass up a deal like that.

So how may plumeria do you have now? Where do you keep them all? How many other plants do you have?

2 weeks huh? That sounds FAMILIAR but one thing you have to know is that they are very busy. They really focus on there whole sale business. I'm glad that there so successfull but they really need to either hire someone else to help them with there non whole sale orders or he needs to step it up.

The problem is Jungle Jacks is like a mom and pop shop. IT's John, his wife, and one other person. When I called the 1st time, the wife told me that John would be back from Thailand in a few days, and it would be better for me to have him pack my order instead of her.

The only thing that really bothered me was that it seemed like every time John and I spoke on the phone or I emailed him, his story channged. For example, he had told me that he had sent my order out and then a few days later he tells me that my order had just gone out. I wished that he could have told me when it was leaving and stuck to that date.

There's nothing more dissapointing then expecting a delivery and not getting your package!

IF I were you, I would keep calling him every few days to make sure your order went out.

Did I also mention that my order total had come to $167.00 and then he billed my debit card for $200.00!! I couldn't believ it and I had to wait about a week for him to send me the payment to reimburse me!

That probobly was what made me the most upset.

At my last count, I have 54 plumerias now and probobly 12 seedlings. Yeah I know that sounds crazy right! Most of which are still small enough so I don't have a problem yet in the winter time. MY Thai Christina and Jenny are the largest of my plumeria trees right now.

On top of that I have my tropical fruit trees, 2 mango trees a couple citrus trees, jackfruit, cherimoya, wax jambu...I probobly have around 50 other tropicals that are not plumeria.

I keep most of my tropicals under my 600 watt HPS light. I also have a good sized basement that stays warm enough for me to keep my plumerias there until spring.

Wow Andrew, you sure do have alot of young plumeria. I love your tropical fruit tree collection, too. A couple of years ago I had purchased 2 mango trees, but they didn't make it. I'd like to try them again. Ice cream mango was nice. How long have you had your mangos? what kind? any fruit?

Called Jungle Jacks today and John told me that he mailed it out friday and that it should be here by thursday. Can't wait to get it. My shipping cost went up a bit because he is sending me a 2 gallon instead of a 1 gallon. Today is 2 weeks since I placed my order. Kinda frustrating isn't it?

Shipping costs have gotten so expensive recently that it's hard on the wallet to buy stuff online. Just bought a $40 mandarin orange tree and the shipping cost was $35. I'm done for the year and there are so many more things that I want to get.

Of course space is also a problem.
