Bhut Jolokia Plants or Peppers wanted

I was wanting to grow some Bhut Jolokia Peppers this year. I forgot to order any seeds. It is too late to start them, so does anyone know were I can get some Mail order Bhut Jolokia? I was thinking about 4-6 would be the right number. I am planning on making some INSANE pepper jelly out of them. I make Jalapeno and Habanero, but I still have requests for hotter.

If I can't find any, does or would someone send me peppers from their garden, later this summer, so I can make some.

Looks good, I am also growing Bhuts and Black Pearl (both for the first time) and orange habs. Not hydroponic though. My black pearls right now are smaller than yours but they're already showing dark purple foliage (only the new growth is green). I harvested the BP seeds from some plants I found growing at a city park last year...I thought they tasted good (hope they weren't sprayed too much! lol) so I saved some and then ID'ed the peppers using Google and this forum.

I start mine in November indoors, plant out on 3/1. And the 2nd season started a couple weeks ago, and I started mine outside so I dont have to go through hardening off the plant. I think you'd be fine to start some now, you might not harvest any before winter, but your plant will have a good size and be ready for spring. Its easy to over-winter the plant in our climate, just bring the plant inside on nights that we have a frost warning. Although that would be difficult with a 30 gallon container. For the peppers that I leave in the ground over-winter, I just cover them with hay at night.

If you are okay waiting for this years crop to grow and fruit, I can trade later in the season. It's late in the season to be growing them from seed. I planted my seeds in early february and it is 3 months later and I still haven't seen it flower. I expect that it will flower in June or July.

Oh I would love to have some of your seeds. I have an assortment of pepper seeds and some other things to trade. Please look at my list and see if I might have something you might like to trade for.

I don't know what I'll have to trade etc.at any given time but it doesn't much matter when you want to trade.
My collection is constantly growing so I'll probably have more than the seeds I have now as long as I get new trades and have time to issolate some buds or whatever.

Probably will have all of your wants + different varieties of them in the fall.
I'm growing several different Bhut,bih,Nagas,7 pods and scorpions now-if they fruit and the critters leave them alone.

hey smokemaster try a solution of 1 ounce of 35% peroxide to 1 quart of water you will have excellent groth and no bugs!

Teezer, is the peroxide just for the jolokias or for peppers in general?

It's the 2 legged critters and stray cats that bother my garden.
I have wasps that get the aphids,mantis that eat whatever and for the first time ever a resident population of ladybugs.The green lacewings are around but not as many as usual.Probably due to the competition between benneficials.
Had 4 mantis egg cases this year hatch from last year.I've got a 1-2 inch mantis in almost every plant,a ladybug in every 3 or 4 plants with the cacoons or whatever all over the place.
252 varieties of peppers out there,324 plants-gotta get rid of about 70 doubles(backup plants)to make room for the last of my summer plants.
Then start sprouting 400 or so more varieties for winter.LOL
I'll be glueing buds shut for pure seeds soon too.

organic dusty peroxide is gexcellent for all plants they grow fast in fact i cant believe how well they do but it has to be diluted look on the net peroxide for plants and you will see,peroxide is h2o with an extra atom of oxygen and oxygen is what they love

I can offer you about 6 or 7 pods. They are nicely dried ones with seeds.
