Wow John, you guys certainly get a fast start compared to us. I usually don't get the big inflos blooming until June or even July. May is really really early for So. Calif near the ocean. Bill

I was thinking it was starting later here than usual. People closer to the beach here have trees full of inflos. I'm about 6 miles from the ocean, and we get a little colder here during the winter. Lost a few due to cold weather, but overall did pretty good.

There all very nice John. I especially like the Miama rose and the Aunt Mary. The Aunt Mary is a pretty shade of white and I love the yellow center.

Thanks Jennifer, our weather in S Florida is getting hotter each day it seems. I have several more plants with inflos that should be opening soon.

Thanks Andrew! Yeah the Aunt Marys White is from a cutting off a tree in St Petersburg Fl. It was at my aunt's house. We would sit in her kitchen and have coffee, look out the window and see those beautiful flowers. Once she passed on, I just kinda picked that name. Reminds me of her.

My first Lutica blooms

Even before opening they have a strong creamy lemon scent

I'm so pleased by the rich gold color and fragrance, and once picked the flowers last a very long time.

Man oh man, so many awesome plumeria and only limited growing space for me...THIS SUCKS!!

This hobby, (or should I say, ADDICTION!), should come with a warning label!!!

I am going to need tohurry up and move into a house, or one of these days, I will have to start tossing the furniture to make more room, LMAO!

LOL! Andrew, I keep seeing your posts with the growing list of varieties you've acquired and thinking, "Oh, dear, where will they all fit in a couple of years?"

I'm already thinking hard about where I can "foster" some of my seedlings when they get bigger, and when I can move into a house with a bigger yard so they can come back to live with me then! I was very good this year and only got three new ones, plus one more for my mom, so right now it's manageable. Still, a greenhouse sure would be nice!

Thanks, John. I cheated and got it already with inflo, but I'm so tickled by the fragrance--you could smell it when the buds were still tightly shut!

I bought Miami Rose for my mom, who asked for a plumeria with a coconut scent. She's still waiting for blooms, but they look like they'll be worth the wait. Good to know about the seed pods, too.
