OT: The Migration Has Begun Early

Okiedawn OK Zone 7

This isn't gardening related at all, except that I am taking about Sooners and we live in the Sooner State, and some Sooners are gardeners.

Every year, a key part of the fall migration occurs when the big wave of OU fans drive through Love County on their way to the Red River Rivalry game with UT at the Cotton Bowl. That's one of the ways we know it is fall here....all the vehicles in OU colors, with OU window flags, OU door decals, etc. Isn't that usually in October?

Well, fall has arrived early. The first migrating OU fans were spotted driving south down I-35 around 10 a.m. today, and there were a lot of them....might have been a caravan--you know how "birds of a feather flock together". LOL Anyway, I was a tiny bit surprised to see them so early in the day, but knew we'd have them coming through all day today and part of tomorrow.

So, if the OU migration to North Texas (this time to the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington) has begun, it must be fall, right?

Let the games begin.
