plant shock from cold, any help?

I got 4 superhots by mail. They were wrapped well but once inside they looked limp and have since lost their leaves. I am trying to save them and could use any advice. The stems look ok so I am hoping they will recover.

As long as the roots didn't freeze, they might be able to sprout new leaves.
Keep them warm (soil temp above 50F), and provide as much light as you can.

I ordered Bhuts through the mail and one was on top of the other with newspaper separating the two in the box, one was compressed by the other all the leaves fell off of one and the other all but two leaves fell off. I potted them in bigger pots placed them under a grow light about a week or so I noticed new leaves sprouting, both survived and produced great peppers. Make sure not to over water, they should spring back in no time with a light source bulb or sun if it's warm enough where you are at.

I would not place these plants in or near or sunny window or a draft door way. They are very stressed right now, only time can tell how damage they really are, but most plants have a survival system of their own if they were very healthy from the jump they should do fine. Just give it time and patient. Please do not fertilize. GOOD LUCK P>S> and give husband a hug and kiss for his effort. haha

Good news--thanks for everyone's suggestions. The plant is fine now. I guess it needed some warmth and humidity. The tent method in the steamy bathroom worked. I gave it a small dose of lukewarm water, just in case, and it's back to normal. Thirsty, dry, and cold, I guess. In the meantime, I'm going to place it further from windows. It doesn't really help that my plants are near the window that tends to be the windier side in winter.

Yes, I got a leaf as a bonus when I bought some on EBay when the temperature was quite low; the Post Office had the package overnight and that leaf had brown spots which increased incrementally over the next couple of days, and finally the leaf rotted and died. The two that I had paid for also curled a bit but survived and are now looking healthy. I guess different AV's respond differently to cold shock.
