I would have to pick aztec gold. One of the first to bloom and keeps blooming in big cascades.. and..smells like peaches!!!

Karen, I live outside Atlanta and have been wanting to find a rooted Aztec Gold..love those peaches! Florida Colors has the grafted plants. Are those as reliable as the rooted ones? Thanks.

Obviously it is the next one I buy. LOL My wife loves pink pansy and I have a seedling of a Moragne that is a red colored flower of the same shape. For scent I love Kauka Wilder, Jeannie Moragne, aztec gold, Kimi Moragne, Celadine, and my "psycho" white. This is like the question, which of your kids do you like best? Like Freak4P said, it is easier to pick out the ones that are disappointing. I think it is the variety that is so attracting. You also have size, shape, color, minor colors, lasting, petal curl and twist, etc. These are all wonderful variations. Then you have groups. I have a California Sally next to an Aztec Gold next to a NOID red button shape, next to a pink shell, next to a Daisy wilcox,and ended by a Lavender- eye popping beauty. Another is a Kauka Wilder, Puu Kehea, Pink Pearl, "psycho white, and Guillots Sunset, Cooktown Sunset, Marion B and Thai One red. I really like creating colorful hedges that are like an art painting to me. Now back to your question. I think the best approach is to ask by color or color combination- otherwise it is very difficult to pick. Sorry I went babbling on. Bill

Bill - this was somewhat of a trick question(smile). I can't even answer it, I like different ones for different reasons and could never imagine having to pick just one. It sure was fun to ask though!

Mine would be Celadine. I fell in love with it in Hawaii and it was my first purchase. I just wish it would flower. (crossing my fingers)

I have two Aztec Golds.. One is about 4 years old, finally bloomed in its glory last year. And one I bought last summer, can not believe is going to bloom. Both are grafted plants from Florida Colors. On these two, would recommend grafted...good luck..you can get peaches...ha

Almost every flower you mentioned I bought last year. I spent a lot of money increasing my plumie collection to try and get color in my plumie garden. I hope this year to bloom, Jeannie Morange, california sally, Moranges, rainbows..etc. Pray I learned well in your suggestions.. Freak too!!!

Karen, thanks for your encouraging suggestion. I have been waiting to buy one, but it is hard! I just started and only have 5, but my husband thinks I'm a little crazy. LOL Jennie

Mine would probably be Penang Peach because it combines a low growth habit and is my most reliable bloomer, though Divine is becoming a close second. Penang's inflos are huge(with many flowers open at once), and it has a wonderful scent. On top of that, the flowers are among the very thickest of all Plumeria, which makes the keeping quality fantastic.

Last year, I rooted a 5 branch cutting from the mother tree, and now it has inflos on ALL 5 branches.

Sounds lovely and doesn't it figure one I don't have. Already added 15 new one's this year I'm supposed to stop. This is a bit of a motivator to go purchase a Penang Peach. Thanks Tony :o)

This is a really hard question. I think my favorite one that i have is called Jacks Large Red. Its a plant that i got from a friend, who got it from a friend named Jack. Its a great flower. Good size, its more of a purple flower than red, and smells like grape bubble gum. I also really like the leaves which are really thick, and a nice dark green color. But there are so many i love. Aztec gold, Bali whirl, celedine,...., various seedlings, no names. I really want a Kauka Wilder
