Problem with roebelenii / pygmy date palm

Hi!

I've had this tree for a little over a year. Up until about 6 weeks ago, it was sitting on a north-facing balcony. Then I moved and now it is sitting in a south-facing covered patio, so it's getting a bit more direct sun.

Around the same time when I moved, I noticed the leaves turned yellow. Some of the leaves also have dark sports on them. Initially I thought it needed Mg, so a couple of days ago I added some magnesium sulfate (from Rite Green) to the soil. However, honestly, I am not sure if my diagnosis was correct. Maybe something else is going on. Here are a few pictures of this tree:
