Not exactly about palms but..........

This forum seems to lean a lot to growing palms in cold climates almost more than the "normal" palm areas, and from that interest I know a lot of you post about other plants that are outside their usual hardiness zones. So besides palms, what else are some of you growing? I have a few camellias, and two gardenias ("Frostproof" which went through it's first winter fine, and "Diamond's Fragrant Delight" with the giant leaves and flowers still in it's pot. I will winter it indoors one more year.) I have Yucca recurvufolia, 14 years old in flower now, Clerodendron and several cacti. I did try three types of palms - Needle, Windmill and Sabal MdCurtain, but none of them survived.
