A most impressive display! I think when Spring comes your plants will have such an advantage. They won't have to be aroused out of dormancy, but will hit the ground running and probably will have developed new inflos over the winter.

Those blooms look wonderful right now. My DR's are blooming, but i dont have any Plumeria blooms . My Penang Peach still is pushing one and my Taj Mahal is as well. We will see about color though. Im not expecting to see much of any color.

Love all of the pics, especially the first one. You could use those as Christmas cards next year!! They are that lovely!!!!

Thanks, Dave and Laura! Most of my blossoms are small except for my Dwarf Deciduous. They were huge! I am most impressed by the fragrance of Vera Cruz Rose. I love it's combination of yellow and pink. The palms are doing well. Yes! They are quite cozy in their palm boxes. (I hope.) It's always exciting to remove the boxes in April. Thanks for your encouragement. It's great having friends on this forum.

Looking good. Makes me want spring to come NOW. Hoping for lots of blooms this year. Of course any thing over the one I had last year would be good. Thanks for posting the pics. Peg

Well Kevin you truly have a little piece of plumeria heaven there! I have to agree that being able to grow under lights over the winter, is a true advantage.

Last winter my 1 plumeria 'Peang PEach' bloomed almost non stop from mid November to February! I think this may be part of the reason I love this particular variety so much. That and the colors and fragrance!

This winter, I really needed to purchase another light. Right now I am using my 600 watt HPS light(which is used for inducing flowers, and fruit develepment). I grow many diffrent tropicals including tropical fruit trees. Over the summer, several of my trees put on a lot of growth. It was good for the tropical fruit trees but not my plumerias!

Right now most of my plumeria are about 6ft away from the light. They also are not recieving the direct light that they used to.

My mango 'Maha Chinook' is blocking most of the light for the plumeria on the floor. It's over 6ft tall and I am excited to say that it should holds it's first fruits!

Okay, I will stop, this isn't the tropical fruit forum, and sorry for getting a little off topic!

I take my hat off to you for having such a nice selection of blooming plumeria!

Wow!! You can tell it was late when i posted last night...Im so sorry for the spelling mistakes. My eyes were very tired and i had been up all day at work and didnt get into the hotel until very late. I was overtired...

What i really wanted to say was that im looking to purchase some of the classics like Henry Apples Durpee and Mary Helen Eggenberger to add to my collection. If someone knows where i can purchase these cuttings or rooted trees, please let me know.

Bud is a very special man and i feel bad for calling him Bub.. He would actually laugh at me anyway...oh well!

I want to replace those that were lost that he gave to me. If you all know where i can purchase them as well..please pass it along to me via email....

Again, i was very tired and my fingers dont work very well late at night. But...i still think about these beauties!!! : )

Thanks for your comments everyone. You are all so kind. My Dwarf Deciduous and Jack's Mini-white have finally finished blooming. They were in bloom for over 3 months. I still have Penang Peach, Vera Cruz Rose and Carol H. in bloom, with others in bud. None have gone dormant. I wish mine would bloom in Summer. They all seem to take advantage of the summer sun, and then bloom in Winter!

Mine enjoy the winter lights but don't bloom like yours do. The mites love the lights and i continue to keep up with that battle!!!

Laura, last year the mites were a real problem. This year, the mites I had were a different color than last year. They were darker this year. The Neem oil helped last year, but the mites kept on coming back. This year, the Neem oil took care of them! I'm been mite free for a couple of months. Yea! I put my plants right up almost against the lights, so quite often they leave tips get burned, or turn really pale yellow. I've got them too close, but at least they bloom!

I swear, you and I are always on the same page! You had mentioned wanting another CS...I want one as well. I still remember that post a while back comparing the size of the CS flowers with some other plumies. They were...AMAZING!

It was great chatting with ya....glad we got the RIP list straightened out! Kind of reminds me of that whole "GOld Rubio" situation...LMAO!!

I also would love another Jeannie Moragne. I was VERY impressed with it's flower color and.....THAT FRAGRANCE WAS AWESOME!!!!

Oh...BTW....I can now confirm that my Sariah Curly Pink from Sonia is producing its first inflo!! I am so excited/thrilled by this, I cannot even explain! Just to have some nice blooms this time of year. I am going to have to do some researching of the older posts after I post this response. I do not remember if it is fragrant at all or not.

Next year ought to be one heck of a year for me...at least I hope. I bought/recieved so many plumeria last year(thanks to you Laura, and to all the others who gifted or traded plumeria with me!) and because most were unrooted cuttings, I didn't see blooms.

This year I am looking forward to J105, Elsie, and so many more...especially my V.R. that I bought from Jungle Jacks. You know you have to many plumeia when you cannot remember what the intitials stand for..LMAO! I know that the last initial is rose, I wanted to say Venetian Rose but that's not it. It was the pic I sent to you of Sonia's. The plumeria had these bright pinkish/red flowers and they were doubles.

Laura, thanks! It's nice to be home, and I was gone so long I forgot which plants were which, LOL. Had to familiarize myself with my babies again, but they all did very well with little attention, other than the expected leaf drop. Only a handful are fully dormant. My Valentine still looks like it's summer.

Andrew, I think your VR is "Vienna Rose." I'm at a point, too, where I'm starting to forget my own notes so I've taken to writing the names directly onto the trunks in permanent or paint marker! Can't rely on my dodgy memory anymore.

I should have gotten some grow lights last fall, but didn't so I'm not seeing the beginnings of any inflos :( I may have another disappointing season, or a late one. I would LOVE an inflo from one of my named varieties!
