The leaves are curled but I assumed that was from the spider mites. They are mostly older leaves and interior most are yellowish some are green. As far as fertilizer I need some help in that area. I am having trouble finding a citrus fertilizer so have been using just a basic 20-20-20. Just fertilized a month ago.On my next trip to the city I plan on going to one of the big nurseries to see what they have. Our smaller ones don't seem to have what I need. I have been trying to keep the soil loose on top. My new growth leaves are a yellowish green but have been starting to green up a little. Is it normal for this much new bloom this time of year? Thank you so much for all of your help. I am feeling a lot more reassurred already.

When you pulled it out of the pot to transplant it, how did it look? Were there lots of white, plump roots all around the outside of the root ball, or were they brown and mushy? Also, moving to a different location can shock the plant and cause drooping or dropping leaves. Don't go nuts and start pouring water and fertilizer over it, you'll just shock it more! Now that it's in a new pot with new soil, nor fertilizer and even moisture for a few weeks, and not too much sun. If it's a good sized plant, nightblooming jasmine can soak up a lot of water while growing, so it may just be that it dries out quickly even after being watered. As long as the roots are ok, it'll bounce back with regular watering. jim

The shrubs behind the cherry along the side of the house also should be replanted further from the building so they have room to grow. It is easy as a beginner gardener to place plants for the size they currently are, not realizing how big they will grow. Yours will be against the siding soon, not a good thing either for the plants or the house. With a two story house, beds look better and plants will grow better if they are a minimum of 5’-6’ deep, leaving room between the plants’ expected size and the building so you can get in to do maintenance such as washing windows, painting or doing repairs.
