hello I am new to garden web I am inerested in cold hardy palms - two questions for you folk who love palms as I do or any experts thereabout.
I would love to germinate my Jubaea Chilensis seeds and find they are not too easy to crack open, is there a method, or tool that I would use to do so with out damaging the kernal of the palm within (tried to wait for them to germinate naturally but thats taken ten months already :())
and
I would love to find a source of Jubaea palms as well as Jubaea X Butia crosses (preferably) in either seedling or young stages for me to purchase or trade
can anyone help thanks from Atlanta and any other cold hardy palm enthusiast is atlanta let me know
