Temperatures and cold damage

Today I decided to haul all of my palms in pots outside, under a shade cloth, they've had enough of being indoors all winter, and the weather was spectacular.

There will be several nights this week with forecast lows of 34-36F, which in reality means 1 or 2 hours at those temps before the sun warms up the air a bit, otherwise I'm pretty safe in terms of no more frost this spring...but my question is this:

I understand that palms will not put on new growth in the 35-55F range, but as long as they don't suffer any physical damage I'm OK with minimal growth/ semi-dormancy until it warms up later in the spring, so is it safe?

I'm pretty sure the answer is yes, I'm just asking the more experienced folk for their advice. All the palm species I have are rated cold-hardy to at least 28F, there aren't any "true" tropicals.

Thanks in advance
