Dave, would love to see the pics.

Easiest way I have found, is to set up an account with www.photobucket.com, make it public I think. Then, create a folder or folders and upload the photos.

Then, you'll see several fields. Just click on the field with the header, HTML Code. It will be the one that starts with Then, just go into a post, like this one, and press CTRL + V to paste it. You can then click the Preview Message button to see how it looks. It won't actually post here until you click the Submit button, so you can play around until you get the desired results.

Alright here are some pictures I had from summer 2006, I have not had the chance to scan last years pictures yet. but all the plants shown below have at least doubled in size, specially the Southern Magnolia, The musa basjo reached an amazing 18'ft tall last season. The Chinese Windmill palm is small in this pic, but has grown considerably in the summer of 07' and after uncoving it this past week, it is in great shape with no damage whatsoever.

That's a beautiful Musa Basjoo clump. I can't believe they get that big in Pennsylvania. You'll be pleasantly surprised with the performance of Sabal Minor. I didn't see the Southern Magnolia though...

ok, well i see all the pics didnt post, so, im tring to figure out how to attach all of them using photo bucket, sorry, be patient.
The musa basjo is going on its 4th summer this year, i planted two, 1 gal potted bananas and this is what they developed into. They do recieve alot of water, the auto sprinkler system hits them everyday during the hottest part of the summer and that really pushes their growth. Here is another pic of another banana in my yard in the summer of 06, this specimen has also doubled in size and infact needs to be moved as it is in conflict with the Blue Atlas Cedar

I'm already terrified what's going to happen over the next couple (few???) years.

What you see in that pic, is in fact 2 feet taller than last year. Since these Washies do grow tall, I know that my years are numbered as to how long I can keep protecting it.

So when it's too much, decisions will have to be made. Perhaps I can donate it to some greenhouse in Southern Ontario. Who knows.

So, due to that, we have a bunch of other Washies (supposedly some Filiferias) that are small for now! LOL ):D

ok, still working on the picture thing, but here is my Chinese Fan Palm from 06' was rather small then, has 11 full size leaves now even after the winter, I will try to get a pic this weekend of it, if anyone else is growing palms in the north here, please let me know.

ok, sorry, let me correct this before i get endless replies on how that is not a fan palm. It is the Chinese Windmill Palm, sorry. OK, here as well is a picture of Southern Magnolia, 'Edith Bogue' from the summer of 06, now it is double this size and really getting some girth in the diameter of the trunk.
