Well the striped blister beetles have shown up in massive numbers. they have stripped some of my peppers already.
This haying time is really making my garden suffer, i just dont have time to pamper it through this hot dry weather.
Every yr i think it cant get any worse, well worse, always seems to show me it can.
I finally got my gas water pump hauled to the pond so i can at least pump some water on the garden. Our rural water is always out when you need it most. I do have a shallow well that i can get the necessity water from, just cant do any watering with it.
I'm one of the folks that live on the higher elevation ,so when the rural water pressure drops, i'm one of the first to loose water.I'm also one of the last ones to get it back. But that is one of the perks of having a badly neglected water dept.
So i guess i'll just do what i can and be happy with what i can salvage out of the garden. Maybe we will get some much needed rain before it completely burns up.
But i still have about a week of hayin to do, then we get to start moving it.
