I guess no one has an answer for you. If you have a Mahoney's within reach you might call them and ask if they have Rainbow Knockout. I haven't looked at roses recently but in the past the two Mahoneys close to me have carried a number of roses in the Knockout series.

Go to the Monrovia site and type in your zip code; you'll get a list of suppliers "near" you. OK, the suppliers least far frem you may be more like it, depending on where you're located.

Oh, and by the way, I ignored this thread at first because in my minds eye the rainbow was not very attractive. According to the photos, though, it's really nice. There were also some comments about mildew problems with this plant, on another web site, so buyer beware!

Thanks, claire and diggingthedirt! I called every place I could think of in the Boston area, without success, but then my mother-in-law managed to locate three plants for me in Connecticut. I think she was able to pick them up today. I'm happy I'll be able to put them in this season.

I also hadn't thought I would like this rose, but then I saw it growing in a spectacular garden in Glastonbury, CT, and I fell in love. The yellow centers blend into the pink so they "read" as just a warmer pink, and the plants were incredibly floriferous. I had not heard about the mildew problems, though--in fact I read quite the opposite--so of course I hope it won't be a problem. We'll see!
