I should mention every plant you see in there is deliberate. They are all mish-mashed, but there's not a single weed in there. Weeding is easy with raised beds.

The raised beds were all made from scrap wood; cheap! :)

Wow, you've got a lot of space. Better go bigger on that pond. You'll end up making it bigger anyway ;)

Dear buyorsell888 . . . I have a lot of space? Cool! Yeah, it is a 100x100 lot, so I guess that is a lot. I am thankful.

I've been sort of making the pond hole with a 300 gallon Rubbermaid stock tank (livestock watering container) in mind. It is about 2.5 feet deep and 6 feet across.

Sinfonian, your raised beds look good. You are gonna be so healthy with all those greens to eat.

I want to have a hands-on pond, that people could even stand in if it gets really hot. So I don't want a lot in the pond; maybe plants *around* the pond. And the kids want a couple goldfish so they can swim *with* them. :) And I know frogs will be attracted to the pond because there are a lot of tree frogs around here.
