What a tranquil, lovely spot you found to make home, dulcimerduo! Your totem is very pretty. I love how you incorporated the round pieces. I always think it is fun when people put a figurine underneath a bigger glass piece. Definitely gives the totems more character! Like the rest of the folks, I just love George! I'm glad he managed to fit in your Honda Civic! Only a Garden Junker would be so determined to fit something that size in a small car. he-he I can't wait to see pictures of your new and improved pond too! Here's a funny observation ... I was looking at the picture of your pond and I was wondering about the little gnome standing on the branch of the tree ... that was until I realized it was your DH pushing a wheelbarrow in the background! lol! Years ago, in one of my magazines, they had an article of how someone totally enclosed a mobile home to make it look like a cute cabin. It was located on a lake and they made a screened porch along the whole front of it. Looking at the finished enclosure, you would never know there was a mobile home under it! I could kick myself for not keeping the article. It looks like you have a similar idea! Please keep the pictures coming!

Ho Cath, it only looks tidy cos no-one is in it! 30 seconds after the whirlwind of children, dogs, DOGS (one is gigantic),cats and my own messy self, there is barely a surface left without teacups, biscuits, newspapers and books,dog flowers, old bikes and the astounding number of special seating things for a child who has the smallest ass in the house yet requires at least 6 different immense chairs. For the non-posters among us, it has been an impenetrable mystery to me and every year has been frustrating because I simply forget what is in the garden (well, more the allotment which is bigger and really is messy). Digital cameras are (I think) fairly easy to use but I have come to the conclusion that being given someone else's old one is a bad mistake - there is always a crucial component missing and hardly ever a manual of use. I am going to buy a new (cheap) one and we can all learn together - that is one of the really good things about this forum. Allowances will be made for non-techies. I think we could all agree to be online at roughly the same time and try to encourage each other through the process. Dont feel bad about not being able to do it - it is not something you can work out intuitively, at least those of us who have not worked with PCs - we need the step by step guidance of someone with patience (probably not me, then) but we owe it to ourselves to make our garden images visible at any time of year, just for our own pleasure....and if we get to share, then that is brilliant.

Hi Carol, I use Picasa, but the procedure is probably the same. There are couple of different ways; the easiest for me is to go to the host site (Picasa, Photobucket, etc...) and RIGHT click on the image that I want to upload. Choose "copy image location" or something equivalent, and then right click again to either load the picture in the message or in the link box. If you want to put the picture in the message box, you must paste the link between the quotes in the following sequence: ..... This will allow you to view the picture without having to click on the link, and will also allow those of us that have a filter on our internet browser to view the pic at work. Uh, I mean, I would NEVER try to check out the forum while I'm at work between the hours of 8:30 and 5 pm.......HA! Hope this helps! Tanya

Thank you, every one for the nice comments.I am soon going to have to repot "SECRET" to a new pot.Its in a big plastic tub.Well,its one of them plastic tubs that walmart sells,and has rope handles on it.They sold for $ 4,00 each when I had bought 4 of them.Regular big flower pots are expensive,so I bought these tubs,and drilled a bunch of holes in the bottom for drainage and decided to put this rose in one.Its been in the tub for almost 7 yrs,and now its tearing up,so it will need a new home very soon,and I will probably have to find some one to help me get it out of this one and put it in a new one. BETH: No I am still bothered with deer coming to eat up everything they see.I have just been lucky that the spray that I spray them with,is on them when the deer comes to eat them.A lot of times it rains at night and washes it off, then the deer is here eating them before I can spray again, but, luck has been here so far this year,and it hasn't rained at night but a few times,and I was lucky the deer stayed away.
