Comments (1)The best are the Lonicera periclymenum varieties except for the one Monrovia sells using the Berries Jubilee trade name which I see looking poorly at local outlets. Japanese honeysuckle does not often grow wild out here, I have seen only a few very limited infestations, the single small patch I recall readily was in a warm (south-facing and bordered by trees) moist pocket next to a lake - it seems to be curtailed by summer drought. Comments (4)flowerfan is correct - PC iris are a bit fussy about root disturbance at the incorrect time of year. Fall is really ideal for dividing or transplanting of these. In general, fall division is recommended for spring/early summer blooming perennials and early spring for later blooming perennials.
