There was a man on here sometime ago giving away potato seeds. He is a seed collector ,when i talked to him he had collected over 10000 varities of seeds. He sent me a few of a couple of differen kinds,not really splitable. The gist of it is you wont be eating spuds right away,but you will breed potatoes suitable for your area. He was very nice,maybe he still has some he had a lot he was trying to give away as I recall. BTW, if you plant reg pot. sets there really are seed pods.They basically look like a small green tom.I picked some off mine ,but I think my dog ate em! Happy gardening

blumenkinder, not to hijack marcella's post, but I do have black hollyhocks which are on your list as well. Do you have anything for heirloom veggies on your "list" lol? If you stay here long you WILL list all your hundreds of seeds like everyone else on their exchange page, it's kinda hard to make trades without knowing who has what. If you dont have veggies, I might also be tempted by white flowers, or night blooming flowers.
