That happens to my grapefruits, but I don't do anything. I have plenty that mature. I don't know what is causing it, but I don't use any pesticides on my property. The anoles take care of things. Citrus is the host plant of the Giant Swallowtail. The caterpillars feed on the leaves. If you spray, you could be killing potential butterflies. How old/large is your tree? Mine is about 12ft high.

Hi Richie, You can make one! I have a bunch in my garden (big and small, from rhubarb and petasite leaves down to small hosta leaves) that I made. Very easy. Garden Gate has a video (and if you Google "Concrete leaf casting" you'll find others). It's fun and you can make whatever size you need, color it if you wish. I just made big leaves, no base (I wanted them for butterfly "puddling" so I didn't want a base -- I put the big rhubarb leaf on a tree stump, but it's still very near the ground). I don't but I do grow quite a few dragonfruits. My secret is to buy the little grafted day-glow cactus plants when they are on sale and chop off the ball shaped neon pink cactus and repot the base plant - it is always a short stem of dragonfruit cactus. I won't know what hybrid or species they are until they bloom and set fruit which may be a year or so. My plan is to grow a ton of them and only keep the best tasting and easiest to grow. So far all of them have been very fast growing and easy easy easy. I usually pay around $1 or $2 per plant.

Sounds like Euphorbia lactea or Euphorbia trigona, but would need a picture to be sure.
