It’s considered a noxious weed in most areas, so the “garden police” would be your local county who can fine you in addition to cost for removal on your property anywhere you’ve allowed it to spread. Where I am at it keeps getting spread by flood waters and taking over the entire riparian zone and spreads from there. I would hope people are just trying to troll and aren’t seriously considering planting this intentionally. How about some kuduz while you are at it?

Cat, I think you are right! I wonder if I got the seeds mixed when I was nicking them? I usually take all sorts of safeguards to prevent this, but we're human. I am not sure of the name but here in Georgia it is pesky weed vine and the only way to get ride of it is dig up the root ball or balls. Round Up will not kill it nor will anything else. Good luck,

#1 is spiderwort, Tradescantia. ==>>> is a dreaded weed plant in my garden ... reseeding itself EVERYWHERE ... as it is clearly doing in your yard ... just because it has a fancy latin name.. doenst mean its valuable ... same with the oxalis ... there are fancy garden varieties [usually huge leaves.. and often sold as houseplants around st pats day.. ya know.. shamrocks] ... but there is also the common garden weed ... your pic has no scale.. but it looks like the stuff i was just shooting with roundup an hour ago ... same goes for the autumn clem ... up here in MI .. its not a real reseeding problem... but i hear.. down south.. its a blistering nightmare ... again ... you cant clump all clems into being valuable plants ... BTW ... you will NEVER kill that clem.. by mowing it over .. 5 more plants will probably pop up from the roots.. lol.. good luck with that ... good luck ken
