sowing Circaea to compete with invasives ??

Is this a crazy idea?

IÂd like to use my abundance of volunteer Circaea (enchanters nightshade) to sow in some of the locations where invasives (ex. garlic mustard, japanese knotweed - you know, the usual suspects ; ) have a tendancy to pop up.

If this isnÂt a bad idea, do I wait for the "fruits" to dry?

any tips for sowing?

IÂm also open to other seed suggestions for part shade.

thanks!
