My 12-year old Bladdernut (Staphleacea trifolia)has produced "baby" bladdernut shrub/trees about 4 feet from the main plant. Are these suckers? Can I dig them up and move them?
I have three that are about 12' tall now. They, indeed, are producing suckers from the root system. This is part of having Staphlea! Try digging them out with a good rootball this Fall. They should TP well.
